Welcome to our farm! We're located in Cremeno, along the old road that once led to the Taleggio Valley and was a vital route for the cheese trade.
You'll find us in Cremeno in Valsassina, just five minutes from the cable car departures for Piani di Bobbio or Artavaggio, yet close to the beauty of Lake Como.
On our farm, the use of pesticides has always been banned. Our vegetable garden is constantly evolving, as are the areas dedicated to aromatic herbs and berries. For a few years now, Marialuisa has been dedicating herself to beekeeping, an important project she is pursuing with care and passion.
The Cascina Cornella farm was founded in 2013 with a very specific goal: to reclaim an area that had been completely abandoned over the years following the advent of new roads.
Work began then, but it's still ongoing! It's no easy task starting from scratch and, day after day, reclaiming what was once a pasture and is now a unique bramble bush!
Over the years, the company's activities have focused on several sectors:
egg-laying chickens, the vegetable garden, the aromatic herbs sector, and recently, bees, our great passion.
The farm is located in a gorge where the eastern Pioverna stream flows slowly until it joins the Pioverna River itself, which flows through the entire Valsassina valley. This area was once a vast pasture and the farmhouse was a barn. After years of neglect, the first work began to clear the woods and brambles to make room for vegetable gardens and a chicken coop.
Two rooms, both on the ground floor, with a private entrance and private bathroom with shower. Our rooms are simply furnished with natural colors.
All rooms have a kettle with herbal teas.
“Giovanni” and “Lucia” are the two rooms of our B&B. Located on the ground floor with soft natural tones, they feature warm wooden flooring, and spacious bathrooms with showers.
Each room opens through a French door onto a private outdoor area with tables, chairs, and loungers, shaded in the summer months by a pergola draped with climbing grapevines. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the majestic Grigne group.
